If you are strong in Geography then it could be a good idea to continue studying it. Be careful not to base your choice on one good or bad mark. Which subjetcs are you consistently good at? Also remember that at GCSE and Post 16 your class sizes are smaller, which may help you to do better in the future. If you're good at Geography or you feel you could be good at Geography then read on.....<br /><br /><br />If you haven't made your mind up yet then maybe you should check that the department is right for you. What recent success has the department had in terms of exam results? For example last year, 1 in 3 Geography students achieved A* or A at GCSE. Every Geography student achieved an A or B at A Level and our first group of IB students achieved stunning results. We naturally want you to take Geography because we're passionate about the subject. Many of the topics in Geography like Development, aid, climate change, refugees and migration don't feature in any other subject. Have you ever heard that the flap of a butterfly's wing in the Sahara can lead to a Hurricane over the Carribean?
